The Summer School in Advanced Economics aims to bring together postgraduates, Ph.D. students, and young researchers interested in acquiring modern specialized knowledge in theoretical and empirical economics. Each year, a small number of participants are selected to ensure direct communication with teachers, active participation, collaboration, and exchange of views between participants. Each Summer School has a distinguished Economist as a Guest Professor. Arye Hillman, Thanasis Stengos, Tom Stanley, Sascha O. Becker, and Jeffrey M. Wooldridge have taught in the past.
The previous edition, concluded in June 2025, featured Jeffrey M. Wooldridge, Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University, and Pedro H. C. Sant’Anna, Associate Professor at Emory University, as the main instructors. Details about the next edition will be announced in due course.
